Step 3 - Report Of Findings
The Report of Findings (ROF) visit is usually an exciting and very hope-filled visit. Between your Exam and this ROF visit, Dr. LeMay will have spent hours going through your intake forms, your personal history and exam findings, and all X-ray/lab work.
It is highly recommended you bring your spouse/partner or a friend as there will be a lot of information shared and it helps to have an extra person listening or taking notes for you.
In-Office Nutrition Report of Findings
This ROF visit is 30-minutes in length. During the ROF visit, Dr. LeMay will go through the written report he’s prepared for you that outlines all the tests that were done, his ranking of the severity of your condition(s), list the priority of issues to address, and an expected timeline to correct your issues and help you feel better faster.
Dr. LeMay also will discuss what we expect from our patients, as far as time, money and effort, that’s been proven to get results. We believe in making you an active partner in your health, and will always encourage you to ask any questions that you have.
Treatment recommendations might include supplementation (herbs, whole food nutrients, nutraceuticals, etc.), diet (food, water, meal timing), lifestyle changes (sleep, stress, movement), mental/emotional recommendations (Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), meditation), bodywork if needed, referrals to outside providers or medical doctors if warranted.
Dr. LeMay will suggest that you watch certain educational video(s) that relate to the health issue(s) you are dealing with (i.e. our How Digestion Works video for those suffering from low stomach acid vs high – which is usually what’s needed!).
There is no additional cost to receive this Report.
If you accept Dr. LeMay’s recommendations and treatment protocol, you will need to sign the Report of Findings. A copy of that, and all your other papers, will be included in your New Patient Binder.
Allow 10+ minutes after your Report of Findings to meet with Michelle, who will make sure you have any (additional) supplements, per your protocol. She will also schedule your initial cycle of four (4) weekly follow-up visits.
First Treatment Cycle – Four Visits
New nutrition patients are asked to commit to an initial one visit/week for four weeks appointment cycle. Prepayment is not required. We just ask for your honest intention to commit to this schedule so that you can give the recommended protocol and application of the educational information you’ll receive time to see some progress.
Your Homework
Your homework includes keeping a food diary log (which we will provide) for those initial four weeks. You’ll write down everything you’re eating, drinking and, yes, how you’re pooping. Dr. LeMay will recommend dietary changes that you’ll be expected to implement. He’ll also ask about how you’re sleeping at night because that’s when your body heals and resets the nervous system.
