Nutritional Counseling at LeMay Chiropractic & Wellness

Are symptoms controlling your life? Would you like to take a more pro-active role in your health?

Then our Designed Clinical Nutrition approach is for you. There are two key parts: the analysis and the creation of a personalized health program.

A variety of tests can be done to help us evaluate your current health and determine what supplement support and dietary changes may benefit you best. They may include:

  • How well you digest and process foods
  • How your body handles blood sugar
  • How your body processes essential and dietary fats
  • Key Essential Mineral Evaluations: Calcium, Iodine, Potassium, Zinc

Everything is discussed prior to doing any testing. Our goal is to target the cause of the health problem so the body can regain the ability to correct itself.

First Visit-What to Expect

First Visit: Local, In Office

At least 2 Business days  before your appointment, you will fill out a very detailed
New Patient Comprehensive Intake Form and a Systems Survey and payment made to secure your time.  We realize it will take some time for you to fill these forms out, but it is critical for Dr. LeMay to learn as much as he can about your health, past and present, so that he can do the best job he can for you.

Upon entering our office you will be greeted by Michelle with a warm smile.  You’ll start first with getting an advanced ZYTO SCAN, then additional bioterrain tests. Then Dr. LeMay will go through your health history and perform a clinical nutrition evaluation. Before leaving, if not already done, we’ll schedule your Report of Findings visit.

Your first visit will take approximately 90 minutes. Cost is $275.

Common vs. Normal

Is a headache, or obesity, or cancer, or diabetes, or heart disease normal as we age?

In the 1930’s and 40’s, clinical pioneers, including Dr. Weston Price, studied groups of people all over the world who were untouched by the Western diet. These cultures enjoyed good health, long life without tooth decay or facial deformities, and modern diseases like cancer, diabetes, arthritis, heart disease and so on. Unfortunately, once these people adopted the modern processed and chemical-laden diet, they quickly developed the same degenerative diseases we see rampant today.

Dr. Frances Pottenger’s famous cat studies demonstrated the frightening effect that modern processed foods had on generation after generation of cats. Dr. Royal Lee researched and was very successful is his widespread clinical application of whole food concentrates in the treatment of the above-mentioned nutritional deficiency diseases.

Way back then these diseases were becoming more and more common. Today it’s getting out of control. Sadly, what’s common is being seen as normal, but it is not! Just because something is COMMON does NOT mean it’s normal. What we eat is critical to our health and lack of dis-ease.
